"Knocks" in the News!

Back in April 2025, we had the incredible honor of joining the Marquette Symphony Orchestra for their spring concert, Festive Folk. Led by conductor Octavio Mas-Arocas and featuring brand-new pieces composed for orchestra by our own Barbara Rhyneer, it was an experience we’ll never forget. There’s nothing quite like hearing our songs wrapped in the sound of a full symphony—it was pure enchantment from the first note to the last. We’d love to share that magic with you, so below you’ll find two videos: the Saturday night performance on April 12, and a special concert we played for Marquette Public Schools on Monday, April 14.

The Knockabouts were recently featured on an episode of GoUSA TV's show American Beats!

Filmed in the summer of 2024, we are super excited to finally see the show!  The crew did a fantastic job all around with filming, sound, interviewing, and hosting.  Thanks to everyone involved.  The episode also showcases Marquette and the U.P. along with our own Dan Truckey.
